Mary Hawkins is the Trending News Editor for PetHelpful. She's a dinosaur of sorts in the world of online media, as she's been writing, editing, and creating content since 2009. She's covered everything from entertainment to parenting to lifestyle, but her favorite topics by far are pets, food, and travel. She lives in a small town in northern Connecticut with her 18-year-old son and a pint-sized Shih-Tzu named Tito. When she isn't glued to her laptop and the weather cooperates, she can be found exploring one of the state's many hiking trails with her small but mighty partner in crime.
