Hi Lora, thank you for the positive feedback. Figgy is such a cute name. I met a huge mastiff-type dog named Figgy, she was so gentle, and I've always loved that name. I'm glad you enjoyed this list. I think food names for critters can be so perfect!

What a fun and interesting article, Layne! I really enjoyed the video too on the top 50 most popular dog names. The next dog I adopt or foster, I will name Figgy after the fruit. That is so cute! I also love the name Clementine. Just like the song too, "Oh My darlin, Clementine." My last foster I named Ginger because she had a golden reddish brown coat and she looked just like the spice! It suited her so well. Thanks for these great names that I will definitely use in the future. I'm always looking for unique dog names!
