Cool Dogs Deserve Cool Dog Toys
I just love toys! What dog doesn't? Squeaky toys, puzzles, tugs, flyers, balls, plush, interactive games, and more: The types of toys are endless. Here, we're featuring some of the hottest dog toys on the market and some of the up-and-comers. Check 'em out––we know your pup will love them!
1. Brainy Bones
Make your dog a brainiac! Brainy Bones are fun, interactive, treat-dispensing puzzle toys that were thoughtfully designed for pet parents who care about their dog's intellectual stimulation and growth.
The Whirl-a-Bone, Tug-a-Bone, and Peek-a-Bone Brainy Bones interactive puzzle toys can occupy your dog with intellectually stimulating activities, or they can be used as redirection tools to distract him from engaging in unacceptable behavior like play biting or chewing. Brainy Bones will provide the challenge and entertainment your dog needs.

2. Crinkit Crinkles
Dogs love the sound of an empty water bottle! The Crinkit, made and sourced in the USA, is an interactive toy your dog won't want to put down: It's unlike any other water bottle dog toy on the market.
The durable ZIGFELX material, designed to provide a protective barrier, allows dogs to play with an empty water bottle. Use the Crinkit as treat dispenser by putting a smaller 8 oz or 12 oz water bottle inside the Crinkit, allowing room for a treat on the end where you insert the bottle. Plus, if your dog loves water, the Crinkit floats! It also has a pleasant vanilla scent.
Note: Although the Crinkit is very durable, no dog toy is indestructible. We always recommend supervising your dogs when they are playing with their Crinkits.

3. The Planet Dog Mazee
Clearly engaging, clearly rewarding, and clearly fun, the Planet Dog Mazee is a fresh take on the stimulating puzzle craze. The interactive brain teaser is designed for long-lasting play—it has a pliable, soft, Orbee-Tuff outer shell and a unique inner maze.
The transparent shell makes it fun for dogs and people to watch the treats navigate their way through the maze. Stuff with Planet Dog eats and enjoy! (The Mazee is 5 inches in diameter with a 1 3/16 inch hole for the treats.)
This toy is non-toxic, recyclable, and 100% guaranteed, but it is intended for puzzle-play, not chewing, so it is not rated on the Chew-o-meter scale. To clean, fill with hot water, shake vigorously, and rinse.

4. Babble Balls
Babble Balls are interactive toys that talk or make exciting animal sounds when touched. The improved technology is so sensitive that it can be triggered by a pet breathing on it—or just by the vibration of a pet walking past it. When play is finished, the Babble Ball turns off automatically and waits to be touched again. Pets think it's actually alive!
Babble Balls now come in the wisecracking "Talking" series and the "Animal Sounds" series. This new generation of Babble Balls features durable high-impact ABS construction, triple the sounds, improved sound quality and replaceable batteries.

5. The Chase It Pet Toy
The Chase It Pet Toy is a favorite of ours for entertaining and exercising dogs. Move the toy in circular, up-and-down, or zig-zaggy motions, and let the fun begin! You and your dog will have hours of fun playing predator-prey games with the Chase It Pet Toy.
The sturdy Chase It Pet Toy consists of a flexible rod covered with nylon braiding with an ergonomic handle at the end. The rod is 42" long and the nylon braiding extends into a 45"-long rope (similar to a lunge whip) with a plush bungee squirrel toy at the end. This squirrel toy is 13" long in its relaxed state and stretches to 20" in length. There is a squeaker in the end and in the head.

7. Humunga Stache
It's a ball, it's a stache...it's Humunga Stache! It's a ball and a mustache, all in one. Catch it, fetch it—just have some fun with it! These make great gag gifts for your friends. Take fun family photos or just plain crack people up as you and your dog walk by them on the street. The Humunga Stache is imported, and it's made from solid, non-toxic, all-natural rubber.
8. Dog Pyramid Toy
The Dog Pyramid, one of Nina Ottosson's collection of interactive dog toys, is perfect for occupying and stimulating dogs. Simply place treats or kibble in the hole near the top of the toy and then watch as the dog enjoys the challenge of getting the treats out by moving and knocking the toy around.
So how is the Dog Pyramid different from the myriad of other food-dispensing toys available today? Made of durable non-toxic plastic, the Dog Pyramid is shaped like a beehive and has a weighted bottom, which is what makes this toy unique. No matter how enthusiastic the game, every time the dog pushes the Pyramid over, it rights itself again. This toy is dishwasher-safe in the top rack.
9. The Kong Wobbler
The Kong Wobbler is a treat-dispensing toy that can be used to dispense a single treat, a handful of treats, or a complete meal. Made with an FDA food-approved, high-strength polymer, this toy is easy to fill and use. Just twist the toy open to separate the top treat dispenser from the weighted base, fill with treats, and twist the two parts back together again. This toy is a little heavier than the Dog Pyramid and more fun for the big dogs.
The Wobbler randomly releases treats or kibble as a dog nudges, rocks, tips, and rolls it around. The Wobbler can also be offered as a mealtime feeder, providing an active learning experience to replace normal feedings. The Kong Wobbler is 7.5" tall and 5" in diameter at the widest point. It holds up to 2 cups of food. The base is weighted with play-grade sand that is in a sealed compartment. It's dishwasher-safe in the top rack and is made in the USA.
10. Meteorlight K9 Ball
Don't miss the Meteorlight K9 Ball! It glows in the dark and was made just for dogs. Illuminated by a single LED that does not blink, the marvelous Meteorlight Ball offers up to 1 mile visibility! This light-up ball is constructed using a special plastic that is soft, flexible, durable, translucent, and shock-resistant.
The Meteorlight K9 Ball is 2.55" in diameter (about the size of a tennis ball) and fits into a Chuck-It ball launcher. This ball also floats and is water-resistant.
11. The Kong Zinger
The Kong Zinger will quickly become your dog's favorite toy! With the Kong Zinger, you zing the ring with lightning speed and a magical forespin that brings the ring to life for the dog. Watch as the ring rolls, skips, hops, and bounces erratically while your dog chases it down.
These irresistible, unpredictable movements are excellent for keeping your dog's interest. Unlike a ball that bounces a few times in a straight line and stops, the ring bounces and turns while racing through grass or sand. Use the Kong Zinger to play chase at the park, the beach, or just about anywhere. The ring even floats!
It's Tug-a-Jug time! This toy:
- is virtually indestructible
- is multi-sensory and interactive
- dispenses treats
- lets you fetch, tug, toss, and spin
- has a rubber wrap that cleans teeth and gums
Tug-a-Jug is a bulletproof food dispenser and chewing, pulling dog toy! Dogs who love toys will get the food and then entertain themselves with the bottle. Simply add your dog's dry food or favorite treats. Dogs are naturally predatory animals, so working for the food will be great. The Tug-a-Jug has a rubber chew thing at the top, a rope for pulling, and a tooth-resistant bottle.

13. Aikiou Interactive Dog Bowl & Game
I have got to get me one of these! The Aikiou (pronounced "IQ") Interactive Bowl was developed to provide dogs with intellectual stimulation as well as physical activity. It gives them a chance to solve problems in the form of an interactive game between you and your dog. But besides using the Aikiou as an anytime educational and fun activity, you can also use it as a food dish for meals. Because your dog will have to "forage" for his dinner, he will be eating his more slowly. This is a great way to slow down dogs that inhale their food.
The Aikiou bowl has four double compartments, each with a sliding door that moves back and forth, and six compartments with a large spinning door. You hide the food in the compartments and the dog accesses the hidden food by turning the wheel and opening the sliding doors. The spinning door comes off for ease of cleaning.
14. Jolly Egg Dog Toys
Eggs wobble this way and that! More fun than any ball, this unique egg-shaped dog toy wobbles around, shooting away from the dog as he tries to grab it. This super-tough toy will provide hours of entertainment for your dog.
This is as close to an indestructible toy as can be found. The unpredictable and erratic movement of this toy will drive your dog bonkers—and it comes in two sizes!
15. Water Bottle Crunchers
It's crunch time! Dogs just can't resist the satisfying crunch of an empty water bottle. Water Bottle Crunchers are perfectly sized to hold an empty water bottle (or any empty plastic bottle up to 20 oz. in size). This toy packs a punch with a crunch! And the best part? It's refillable!
- Recycle! Don't throw away...it's time to play!
- Refill! Use your old empties to fill this toy through the handy-dandy Velcro opening.
- Repeat! All crunched out? Remove the old bottle to recycle and stick a new bottle in!
Note: Although this toy is design to hold a bottle, you can stuff it with almost anything that the dog is interested in and then use the toy as a reward or a target in training.
16. Humunga Tongue
Warning: Only for dogs with a good sense of humor! The Humunga Tongue is a far-fetched dog toy for all-out fun. Your dog can catch it, fetch it, or play tongue o' war. Crack up your friends and family! This toy comes in three sizes: Mini (6" long for small dogs), Junior (8" long for small to medium dogs), and Jumbo (10" long for BIG dogs).

17. Leo Canine Genius
Make your dog a genius—a Canine Genius! Named in honor of genius Leonardo da Vinci, Leo marks a renaissance in dog toy design. On its own, Leo is a great bouncing, fetching, tugging, and challenging treat-dispensing toy. You can also link multiple Leo toys together! When the toys are connected, the treats inside can move from one toy to another.
Design puzzles specifically for your dog's individual problem-solving level. Completely hollow, and made from a durable and irresistibly chewy space-age material, Leo is loads of fun. Large, medium, and small dogs love playing with Leo! Leo comes in "Regular" for medium to soft chewers and "Tough" for medium+ chewers.

Time for fetch! The Ballistic Ball Hyper Fling is all about enjoying quality time with your dog and having fun. Compact and travel-ready for pets and people on-the-go, Ballistic Ball Hyper Fling can easily fit into your glove compartment, backpack, or bag. It simply extends for throwing power to keep your dog on the run.
The Ballistic Dog Dental Ball, encased in a soft felt covering, is designed to be gentler on your dog’s teeth than a traditional tennis ball. It's compact for ease of storage and portability, with a racquet-style, Soft-Grip handle that provides throwing comfort. Keep in mind: It includes only one ball.

19. Henrietta Chicken
Meet Henrietta, the new chicken in town—she is one glamorous chick! MSG-free, de-feathered, and boneless for canine pleasure, this "retired Vegas show-chick" will be a perfect playmate for your pooch.
Hand-painted, poly-filled, and made of latex, the smaller Henrietta (9" tall) squeaks, and the large one (15" tall) belts out a cock-a-doodle-do! Henrietta's longtime boyfriend "Earl" is also available: He's an Earl-vis impersonator and self-confessed chick magnet.
Two years ago, Gracie got a really cool Santa's Little Helper Henrietta for Christmas. Being the goofy girl she is, Mum couldn't help but capture her playing with it on video. Gracie still plays with it; it's one of her favorite toys. Check out the video below of Gracie getting her groove on with Henrietta!
Note: Henrietta is not indestructible and should be supervised when playing with your pup.

20. The Sheepy Octopus Tug Toy
My favorite! The Sheepy Octopus Tug is made from genuine sheepskin and is a great toy for teasing and enticing puppies (and harder-to-motivate dogs) to play.
Drag it on the ground and the tentacles will flip and flop around, exciting your dog. The sheepskin portion of the toy is approximately 12" long; overall, the toy is approximately 32" long from the end of the soft suede leather handle to the tips of the tentacles.
Blow long-lasting bubbles for your dog to chase and pop. Not your average bubble stuff, IncrediBubbles are non-toxic, peach-flavored bubbles that last longer than any other bubbles we've tried. They also land without popping. The longer the bubbles float in the air, the lighter and more durable they become. Dogs love to catch them in the air or attack them on the floor or lawn.
IncrediBubbles is an inexpensive and fun game to play with your dog, and packaging comes in assorted colors.
Bark at me and let me know your pup's favorite toy!
