Tiny Baby Chinchilla Learning to Climb Is the Cutest Escape Artist
Little Chinchilla kits are born relatively well-developed and fully furred, and they are fully capable and eager to explore their surroundings shortly after they are born. Their eyes are fully open, and their mamas usually only give birth to one or two kits at a time.
They are also ridiculously cute, and can get into all sorts of mischief. Just check out this precious little guy ready to go out on his own! It's total cuteness overload.
The video was shared by the TikTok account for @chinderellaandprince and it's a whole lot of adorable. TikTok users agree and over 2,000 comments had a lot to say about the nine second clip featuring the little baby and how mama was so concerned she hopped on over to him. So many people have also never seen a baby chinchilla before! I have never seen one either, and now I am obsessed.

The kits grow super fast during their first few weeks of life, which may be why so many of us have never seen a baby-sized baby before. All I know is that I want one!
