Tiny Fox and Kitten Playing Together Are Adorable Friendship Goals
Sometimes you'll see a video online and you'll wonder exactly how people manage to get into these situations, and by 'situations' we mean having two of the cutest animals to ever exist frolicking together in your home.
Check out the following video posted by TikTok user @greychuckjvchbcd and get ready for a huge dose of cuteness overload.
How how exactly does someone manage to get their very own baby fox to play with their adorable kitten? We've all heard of the kitten and cat distribution system but never one for foxes. These two babies are just ridiculously adorable playing together.
Everyone is so in love with these two angels and @Kita says, "The little hop sounds!" @Shal replies, "My heart just freakin melted inside my body." @Lelia adds, "Kitty invited his friend to come over to his house to play @Socal comments, "I could watch this all day."
Welp, your wish is our command because here's another video of these two munchkins.
And now to burst your 'I'm gonna go adopt me both a kitten and baby fox!!" bubble. The legality of owning a fox as a pet in the United States may vary from state to state. For example, some states may allow it, while others may have restrictions or laws prohibiting it altogether. One of the most common reasons for this is due to the potential risk of harm to both the owner and their environment.
Foxes, because they are wild animals, are extremely high energy and can be very destructive when bored. They are extremely difficult to house train, need a diet of fresh meat including mice and rabbits, and you need to have a specialized veterinarian on call who is used to treating foxes. So even though they are freaking adorable, keeping a pet fox is best left up to wildlife rehabbers.
A kitten, on the other hand, makes an absolutely purrfect pet and you can find your pick of the litter at your local Humane Society or animal shelter. Heck, adopt two and just get one a little fox hat to wear so you can live out the adorableness of the above clips of these two besties being cute together!
