Rescue Worker Waking Up Orphaned Baby Kangaroos Is the Definition of Sweetness

We're so thankful they rescued these babies.

A wildlife rescue center, known on TikTok as @kangala_rescue, has been saving animals on an Australian island since 2020. All of the kangaroos they save are orphans who have been rescued from bushfires, car accidents, or sick mothers. Although, they help any animal in need.

In a recent clip, one of the rescue center workers showed us what it's like to wake up the baby kangaroos. And let's just say if you were to look up the word adorable in the dictionary, these kangaroos would show up. Take a look!

Stop it right now! We can't handle this preciousness! We feel absolutely terrible that all of these baby kangaroos lost their mothers in tragic ways, but we're so very thankful for this wildlife refuge and the rescuers that have been taking care of them.

"I would sell my soul just to be able to cuddle them every day," said @_idroppedmycroissant_. Oh trust, you aren't the only one that would do that. LOL! @bellaboo809 added, "Their little feet poking out and all snuggled up. What an amazing job you do." Right?! These adorable blanket pouches mimic what it would be like if they were in their mother's pouch. SO sweet!

Kangala Kangaroo and Wildlife Rescue is located on an island south of Australia known as Kangaroo Island. The rescue first opened when devastating brushfires hit the island in 2020. The entire organization operates from donations. So if you'd like support and donate to the wildlife rescue center, please visit the Kangala Rescue website for more information. Let's show them that we care about all the work they're doing for these animals!
