Cat Chilling in His Hammock Like a Boss Is Living Everyone's Dream
Pets can teach us so many essential life lessons, from the importance of play to the effectiveness of a big stretch. Almost everything they do can be something we can learn from!
Animal sanctuary owner and pet parent @dabzndawgz knows exactly what we mean. They recently stumbled upon their tabby cat relaxing in his hammock like the boss he is, and their TikTok fans are loving it. Ollie has nothing but relaxation on his mind, and he doesn't care who's watching!
He really DGAF! Ollie is so focused on his nap that he couldn't be bothered to move... even though it seems like he's about to slide right off the hammock. Now that's a level of relaxation we'd like to experience at least once in life!
"I wish I trusted anyone as much as you trust your cat to not mess up your plants getting up/down from that hammock," commented @nash_potat0. LMAO! We expected that comment to end with a quip about how much the sleepy cat trusts the hammock, but now that we think about it, this is a major display of trust, too.
Not only could Ollie fall and break any number of the plant pots and accessories, but he could really get hurt, too! Cats are known for landing on their feet when they fall, but there's a greater danger hiding here. It's the plants!
Both the monstera plant--the one with the large slitted leaves--and the pothos with the green heart leaves are toxic to cats if ingested. Luckily, it seems like Ollie is a well-fed boy! Most cats won't randomly eat houseplants unless something is missing in their diet, but it's always something to be aware of. If a cat's owner can stay aware of the plants their pet is around, then the kitty can focus on napping--just like Ollie!
