Cat Photographer's Gorgeous Photoshoot at the Shelter Is So Full of Goodness

Hopefully, this will help them get adopted!

For as many sad shelter animal videos as there are online, there are even more positive videos of rescue pets letting their true personalities shine. Volunteers and shelter staff get to see these animals at their best and at their worst, so there really is no one who knows them better. Until they find their perfect homes, that is!

As you can imagine, though, it can be difficult to help so many adoptable animals find their perfect owners. Fortunately, shelters have found many ways to give their residents a little boost to help them stand out among the crowd.

That includes photography! Cat photographer Nils visited his local shelter on November 1 to help take pictures of adoptable kitties, and the results couldn't be better. He made the cats look so playful, dramatic, and sweet!

Aww! I just love these gorgeous cats and the way they show the photographer their best selves. For some, like the regal white kitty, posing simply is best--but others like the Tuxedo cat just wanted to play!

Clearly, Nils the 'catographer' (AKA @furryfritz) has lots of experience with felines. He can photograph a cat in almost any setting--and while they're doing almost anything! If that isn't the mark of a talented, versatile pet photographer, I don't know what is.

Judging by all the love these shelter cats are getting in the comment section, I can only imagine the reactions they're getting from potential adopters. While @_kim._.20 gushed over "the little teeth" in the last photograph, others like @baking squared "just want them all." Now that I understand!

These images really do highlight the personality of each cat, and they'd look amazing framed and displayed in the pets' soon-to-be forever homes. Cheering for you, kitties!
