Cats Waiting Patiently for Their 'Steamed Milk' Are Too Cute for Words
A video posted on October 26 proves something that pretty much every cat owner knows, that if you do something your cat enjoys they will remember it forever. Just try giving your cat one of those squeezable wet cat food treats at a certain time of day in a certain spot of your home and I can almost promise they will be there waiting at the exact same time in the exact same place the next day.
That's what happened when this owner decided to dab some milk on each of his cat's paws when he made his morning espresso. Now they all line up waiting for it!
The cute video, posted by the TikTok account for @jessielubrooke, shows all four cats lining up in the kitchen by the coffee maker ready for their morning milky treat. Its so adorable how each one licks their paws!
TikTok users are loving this precious good morning ritual and @Fable comments, "I love how the brown tabby started licking its paw before it even got any." @Spizzy replies, "All lined up in the Starbucks line." @Jess says, "I love the sing-song of anointing the paws with steamer milk." @Tri replies, "My cat does this but sprints when she hears the rumble of the Keurig. Cats are so smart lol."
Cats are absolutely creatures of habit and any cat owner can tell you they seem to remember almost everything. A member of my own household made the mistake of feeding one of our cats treats at 11 o'clock at night and now when the clock strikes 11 the cat is knocking and crying at her door!
You know what they say, we don't train our cats, our cats train us. So true!
