Confident Corgi Dressed as the Royal Guard Draws a Crowd at Buckingham Palace
When visiting a city with as much history as London, England, there are so many important sights to see. Whether you stop by Big Ben (which is formally named Elizabeth Tower after the late Queen Elizabeth II) or tour the Tower of London, there's no wrong way to schedule your itinerary.
But would you ever expect that a dog would be one of the most popular sights you'd see on the trip? I sure wouldn't, but a few lucky Londoners (and visitors) got to witness the most adorable Corgi dog visiting Buckingham Palace. The dressed-up pup matched the Royal Guard, too, and it made for the sweetest pictures!
Take a look for yourself!
OMG--how cute is he? Winston is the perfect pup to show off his love for London. He's pint-sized and photogenic, and he's even the perfect breed for the job. Her Majesty the late Queen Elizabeth II loved her dogs, all of which were corgis or corgi mixes.
The best part about this video, though, is the dog's Royal Guard outfit! His grandma handmade it for him, and she did an amazing job. If Winston stood next to one of the King's Guards, I wouldn't be able to tell who's who!
Okay, but seriously--it's very impressive to see how easily this dog travels with his family. After all, his name is @worldwide_winston! He's allowed on every airline because he's a medical alert service dog, but his adorable face makes him the most popular passenger on every flight. He's mastered hotel manners and travel etiquette, and his global photoshoots are to die for!
His trip to England is the perfect proof that this little gentleman was meant to travel the world, but London will always have a special place in his heart!
