Dog Dad Imagines Corgi's Thoughts on Not Having a Tail and It's Priceless
Do you have a favorite TikTok account? I have several, and one of them is the furry 'talking' family @Hammy & Olivia. They posted a video on Tuesday, August 22nd of Hammy - who is a Corgi- wondering why he doesn't have a tail and the conversation is too cute!
Hammy looks at his behind and realizes there's no tail there, so he asks his dad where it is. Dad tells him that he does have a tail. The two of them look out the window to see the neighbor playing with his Golden Retriever who's swinging his tail back and forth....tail envy is real!
I think Hammy's one of my favorite TikTokers because I love the way he 'talks'...his voice is so funny! He really wishes he had a tail instead of a nub. And the poor guy leaves the room to cry at his bad luck of having a small tail!
While it may look like Hammy the corgi doesn't have a tail, he actually does. Corgi tails are about 4-5 inches long, so not the long, flowing tail like the Golden Retriever had, and it's actually not all that uncommon for them to be born without a tail because it's so short. Who knew?!
Commenters got a kick out of the tail conversation. @MrBeast wasn't wrong when he said, "Cuteness overload!" @AliWolf975 shared, "Most corgis are born with their tails. I have a litter of corgi puppies that kept their tails, and they are beautiful"! Another commenter laughed and said, "He is soooo dramatic!!!" He really is!
