Dog Mom Discovers Her Dachshund Is an Escape Artist with 'Little Chicken Arms'

Houdini ain't got nothing on her.

A Dachshund owner couldn't figure out why her dog was able to escape from her kennel, so she ddid what any other curious dog owner would do. She spied on her.

Just wait until you see how this funny pup manages to break free from her puppy prison!

Now that's ones smart doggo! We love how her mom says she has little chicken arms because she really does, LOL!

The hysterical video was shared by the TikTok account for @emzsunny and people can't get enough of this little escape artist. One person said, "The way she looked back down like damn, no one would believe me if I told them." Another added, "The way I knew it was a Dachshund before the clip."

Another Doxie mom is familiar with this upper body strength and said, "My dachshund some how leaped up to the kitchen counter and got the bag of deli ham that was sitting out. Ate the whole pound!"

Why You Should Crate Train Your Dog

This is a skill your dog needs to have.

Every dog should be crate trained

I know, I know, there's nothing as heartbreaking as hearing your new puppy cry when you put it in a kennel but crate training your dog will solve so many problems in the future.

One reason your dog should be crate trained? Crating can also be used when pups get cranky and need to nap. Young puppies often get overstimulated and don't know how to self-soothe. Placing them in the crate with something to chew (like a stuffed Kong) can help them calm down and get the sleep they need.Dogs familiar with crates from a young age and positively introduced to it come to associate the crate with relaxation.

Crate training your dog goes hand in hand with house training them, because most dogs won't eliminate where they sleep. A dog that sleeps in a crate is more apt to alert you that they need to go out.

If you ever have to board your dog and they are used to sleeping in a crate it will be way less traumatic for them.

Plus, if you ever have to lock up your dog, like if you have company who doesn't like dogs, you can provide your pup with a safe space to relax while guests are around.
