We had to go run out for a box of Kleenex after seeing the sweet wedding ceremony one TikTok creator had to honor their men and woman who've served our country. And they included their deaf therapy dog Cole too! As can be seen in the video shared by @deafcole, his owner wanted Cole to be a big part of their special day — and now their touching gesture has so many people getting emotional.
The couple decided to have their wedding ceremony at a Veterans Home, where Cole had recently become the official mascot and therapy dog for the facility. They also saw the day as a chance to really do some good. "We asked the veterans to be the bridesmaid and groomsman," the text overlay reads. "Some of them barely leave their rooms, which made it that much more special." One of the vets had never walked someone down the aisle before, so they made his wish come true. Take a look!
People in the comments section thought the gesture was so sweet. "This is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen. I already knew how special Cole is, but you both are truly amazing people," @momof2niks wrote. "This is the most AMAZING event ever and I thank you for sharing!!!" @rockorock7 added. "How beautiful and the dancing even in wheelchairs, they boogie. Love it. Thank you for giving them that," @juliethesecond commented. "I’m in tears. This is so amazing! Congratulations!!" @shanlo12 chimed in.
A second video on Cole's page shows even more footage from that happy day.
