Passing of 'Annie the Senior Bucket List Dog' Has the Internet So Saddened
Best friends and wonderful humans Lauren Siler and Lisa Flores first saw Annie, a shelter dog that had been surrendered and was set to be euthanized on a post on social media. The two adopted Annie, who had only been given one month to live, and did everything in their power to make sure Annie's last days were filled with as much life and love as possible.
The two friends took to Instagram to announce the sad news that Annie had passed away. WVVA News shared the following sad story to Facebook.
Annie lived a year longer than anyone expected. The girl posted on Instagram, "So much of who I am today, is because of Annie. I learned so much from her…That life is worth living! Adventure and good days can come when you least expect it! Being brave and saying “yes” is almost always worth it! But maybe most importantly… that we live in a world with GOOD people!"
Everyone is so touched by the passing of sweet Annie and how these two girls did everything to make her time on earth as wonderful as possible. @Sandy comments, "It only takes one person to change an animals life forever or two 19 yr old girls!" @Kari adds, "So sweet. Bless your souls. Giving the old puppy love at end of his life. You all are wonderful." @Karen responds, "Thank you guys for giving this sweet baby girl a year full of love and hugs and kisses and happiness. It was probably the best year of her life." @Lusy replies, "That's what love can do for animals."
