Dog in Missouri Who's Waited to Be Adopted for Over a Year Breaks Our Hearts

There's nothing we hate more than to think about all the dogs languishing away in a shelter instead of being pampered by a loving family. These dogs deserve comfort and security, but, unfortunately, they are stuck in shelters for a long time because of the limited amount of people looking to adopt, like this dog that desperately wants to find his forever family

Valentine's Second Chance Rescue is a non-profit animal rescue in Kansas City, Missouri, and they recently shared a video of a Pit Bull named Canelo who is available for adoption on their TikTok, @valentinessecondchance. In the video, they say Canelo has been waiting for someone to adopt him for a year and his quality of life is deteriorating. Check out the video to see this precious pup and help Canelo find his forever home!

Awww, this dog is so sweet. It breaks our hearts that he hasn't found his human yet. We know the right person for Canelo is out there somewhere, we just need to find them as soon as possible!

People in the comments can't believe how cute Canelo is. @loopy_layne said, "Beautiful boy deserves full time love!" and @mar17koz commented, "What a lovely boy!" Canelo seems like a wonderful pup, and his smile is just adorable!

Others are sending Canelo good luck in his search for a family. @ssaar_raahh commented, "What a hunny! I hope he finds his fur-ever home soon!" Another user, @keriunderwood523 said, "So sweet! I'm hoping your forever family comes for you soon, sweetie." Hopefully, this video helps Canelo find his people!

We can't believe Canelo has been waiting for someone to adopt him for so long, and it's so sad that his quality of life has been deteriorating. We wish we were able to take him home!
