Wow--this tent really is tiny! Even though I knew its meant for cats, I thought a small pup like Winston would have more room to spare. Then again, he is a long boy!
I was relieved to see that I wasn't the only one taken aback by this tent's minuscule size. Commenter @henrrietty shared, "The tent is so tiny I thought Winston was a Golden Retriever before reading the description." LOL! It does take a moment for the brain to process the correct size of everything in this video, but it's so worth it.
We're so glad to see that this Dachshund pup loves his new tent, but it's worth noting that it's always safer to keep your dog in your tent while camping overnight. Remember--you could be in bear country! A tent might keep a pet in one place, but it's not a force field from the elements or wild animals.
Don't worry, though. All it takes is a little vigilance and preparation to have a safe and memorable camping trip with your dog (or your cat, if you're feeling ambitious).
