Video of Rescued Duck's 'Adoption Moment' Couldn't Be Any Sweeter

There's nothing we love more than pet adoption videos because the pets are so excited to finally have a family and the adopter is thrilled to be welcoming such a cute new member of the family. Usually these videos are of a dog or a cat, but one video is giving us a glimpse at a lovely adoption for an unusual rescue.

Guelph Humane Society is an animal shelter in Ontario, Canada, and they recently shared a video on their TikTok, @guelphhumane, of one of their rescued residents getting adopted. In the video, a Call Duck named Ivy is preparing to go home with her new parents after being in the care of the Guelph Humane Society for the past month. Check out the heartwarming video below to see Ivy's full story!

Awww, we are so happy for Ivy! She was brought to the shelter because she and two of her duck-mates were attacked by a predator, but she was able to make a full recover. Now, she looks very excited to be going home with her new family!

People in the comments were so glad Ivy would get to live an easy life with her new family. @gaelandreaannlync said, "I'm so happy Ivy got a home. She's gorgeous!" and @pamelamusick commented, "I'm so happy she got adopted!" This sweet girl is so deserving of this happy ending!

Others just couldn't believe how amazing Ivy looked. @jillkrajewski commented, "What a pretty girl!" and @mentallyillmidwestgal said, "She is so pretty." This duck is going to be the talk of the town for her good looks and gentle demeanor!

We are so happy that Ivy was adopted and will get to live out the rest of her life well cared for and appreciated for her beauty. We are sure the staff at the rescue will miss her, but this duck is off to bigger and better things!
