English Bulldog Puppies’ Morning Playtime Is a True Timeline Cleanse

We could watch them all day!

If you've ever had a puppy, you know they wake up full of energy and ready to play. ...or most of them do anyways. Carla shared a video on Wednesday, April 24th of her English Bulldog puppies enjoying morning playtime and it's the cutest thing you'll see today!

Make sure your sound is on for this adorable clip. There are six puppies in all, and one of them is already taking a nap. Watch and see how they all play together. The pup that pushes the other dog over at the very beginning is beyond cute!

They're so adorable! Now I want an English Bulldog puppy! I could watch them play all day! And if you loved Carla's video as much as I did, don't miss this video that she shared of more playtime...I can't get enough! The little puppy sounds that they make are music to my ears!

Commenters also adored the video. @Aye Welt pointed out, "The brown one woke up and chose violence LOL!" @La'Toya Harris shared, "I want the one that flipped over and got stuck, that’s my spirit animal!" and another commenter added, "She just got distracted and never rolled back over!" And I think @Vanessa spoke for all of us when she swooned, "Omg, I can’t with all this cuteness!!!!"

What to Expect When You Bring Home an English Bulldog

I always thought I'd want an English Bulldog as a pet since they are very chill and lazy dogs that like to sleep a lot and are the ultimate couch potatoes. My brother has had two English Bulldogs and as puppies they are too cute for words. But puppies grow up, and once his got bigger, I wasn't sure they were the right breed for me.

There are pros and cons that come with any dog breed that you are considering making a part of your family. Bulldogs are a breed known for their goofy personalities that will keep you entertained. They love running around and playing with their toys...they just aren't as enthusiastic about it for long period of times like other dogs. They love their humans fiercely and can make great watch dogs - not guard dogs because they aren't the fastest movers, but they'll tell you when people are coming. They are great with children and other animals, which is always a plus. They don't shed much and aren't known to be barkers.

I don't consider my family highly active at all, but if you're looking for a dog that likes to play, go on daily walks, and accompany you everywhere, this breed probably isn't the right choice. I remember once when I was coming home from work a little girl was trying to walk her bulldog and he decided to sit down right in the middle of the street and wouldn't budge...I had to get out and help her move him! Since they aren't highly active, they don't require a whole lot of room so they can make great apartment or small space dogs. Oh, did I mention that they snore (and pass gas) often and loudly!?

It's so important to research a breed before bringing home a dog. Just because these puppies are beyond cute doesn't mean they'd be a good fit for your family.
