Two Baby Raccoons Thinking a French Bulldog Is Their Dad Wins the Internet

The dog's reaction to the babies is too funny.

Our hearts always melt when we see animals accepting any and all creatures like it's one of their own. It doesn't matter if it is a completely different animal. If they feel like an animal is in need of nurture, they step in. Although, sometimes, they don't even realize they were picked to be a parent. LOL!

We see that play out in this September 15 video from TikTok user @marshallwilliamson. Two baby raccoons were following around a French Bulldog like he was their father. The dog's reaction is cracking us up. Take a look!

O.M.G. Stop it! We couldn't even tell them apart at first because from behind they all looked like adorable raccoons walking around in the backyard. The dog's coat and color are similar to the raccoons. It wasn't until the French Bulldog turned around did we realize that he was in fact, not their father. LOL!

We typically see raccoons digging through trash or even showing up at drive-thru windows, begging for food. So to see these baby animals in such a calm and relaxed manner is so refreshing. We just need to get this Frenchie on board with adopting these raccoons as his own, which we believe can happen as French Bulldogs are known to be compassionate and friendly if trained properly.

We never considered owning a pet raccoon before, but after this video, we absolutely need one. LOL! Who wouldn't want one? They're downright adorable. But before you start your mission to owning a raccoon, make sure where you live it is legal. The only states where it is legal to own a pet raccoon are Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Texas, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming. Other states might allow it with a special permit or license.
