Moment Golden Retriever Rescued From Meat Trade Realizes He's Safe Is Everything
Having any rescue animal transition to its new home is a process. They might be scared and hesitant at first, unsure about their new family. But with some patience and time, they start to feel right at home.
TikTok user @pennyfrance rescued a Golden Retriever who was on her way to a slaughterhouse in China at just six months old. Over the years this dog has been with a rescue organization and now, after traveling through multiple countries, she's home. The viral video shows how scared she is at first, but the moment she realizes she's safe is everything.
And cue the tears! We can't even begin to imagine what this dog has been through. It's no wonder she was hesitant to come out of the crate at first. The good news is that now she has nothing to worry about. She's going to be smothered with love for the rest of her life!
