People are Mesmerized Watching One of the Largest Horses in the World Get a Bath
Bath time isn't exactly an easy time for most pet owners. Many cats despise the water, and dogs can get the entire room soapy and wet. Honestly, we thought bathing a gigantic Belgian draft horse would be a massive struggle!
Ally from Colby's Crew Rescue made bathing the huge horse look easy. Her wife and partner in rescue, @ohkaytacos, caught the horse's spa day on film, and it looked like so much work! Fortunately, Big John the draft horse is feeling a lot cleaner.
OMG! Big John has a very fitting name if you ask us. As Olivia--Ally's wife--mentioned in the video description, this huge horse stands at 20 hands high. That's 6.6 feet tall! And like Ally showed in the video, that measurement is only to his shoulders--not his head!
It's no surprise that commenters like @jmitch712 are showing their words of love. He said, "Big John will always be a favorite of mine." We can see why! He is the true definition of a gentle giant, and he has the most incredible bond with his caretakers.
Like commenter @robblaandy said, "Seeing the awesome bond between Ally and Big John always makes me smile! They were meant to find each other. He’s living his best life now!" He sure is. Even large and strong animals deserve to be respected and cared for, and this is the perfect example.
There are so many heartwarming stories about rescue horses out there, but we're positive this is the largest rescue horse we've laid our eyes on. Washing him takes a major effort--but Ally and Olivia know what they're doing.
