Cat Mom’s Joke About How Her Cats Spend Their Time Is Brightening People’s Days
If you're a cat owner, you know that cats spend a lot of their time sleeping. But what about those few hours when they're awake and full of energy? @pennythegingercat's mom posted a video on Sunday, October 15th about her cats, and it's so spot on.
The video starts by showing her cats and the silly positions and places they sleep in for 18 hours a day. But for the other 6 hours, they wreak havoc!
@pennythegingercat's video totally made my day! I loved seeing them in their "borderline comatose" sleeping positions and funny places that they sleep, but my favorite was watching them "rain hellfire and destruction on everything"! They're full of energy and the tabby cats love finding trouble to get into. The dryer made me crack up!
Commenters also got a kick out of the video. It had well over a million views and close to 6 thousand comments, and that's a lot for Instagram. @rex_clair got more than 22 thousand likes for his comment, "Orange cats are the best cats!" @chatrkat shared, "Agreed you must have 2 cats. They need a partner to be most effective at destruction." @theo.the.scottish.cat made me laugh with, "Get an orange cat they said. It’ll be fun they said."
Many commenters also made references and comparisons about these two to the cartoon character, Garfield. They're not wrong! Garfield also loves sleeping, had major attitude, and had no problem finding trouble to get into. Sounds like he'd fit right in at their house!
