Kaley Cuoco Announces First ‘Oh Norman! Chief Treat Officer’ & He's the Perfect Pick
Back in June, Kaley Cuoco, founder of the Oh Norman! dog brand, announced that they were looking for their first "Chief Treat Officer" to join the team. Oh Norman! offers affordable, eco-friendly, and ethically sourced dog products, and they needed someone to taste-test new treats and play with new toys to make sure they're all dog-approved before they hit the market.
After months of waiting, the day has finally come! On Thursday, November 14th, Kaley announced their first-ever Chief Treat Officer, and he's an adorable rescue dog named Hoagie! Hoagie was handpicked by Kaley following a public voting process in which fans cast their vote for their favorite dog. Oh Norman! received more than 5,000 submissions, and fans were able to vote on the Top 10 for their favorite and that turned out to be Hoagie!
Adopted by Emily Reas and Julia Ptasznik, Hoagie was rescued by Mutt Scouts in San Diego and joined Emily and Julia’s family a year ago. They describe him as a loveable goof, well known for his love of sardines, carrots, and other treats.
According to a press release dated November 14th, Oh Norman! "looked for candidates with a keen sense of smell and taste, an understanding of trends and their peers, as well as a proficiency with social media, of course with a supportive pet parent who could serve as a professional camera assistant." Hoagie and his family fit the bill!

Hoagie's mom replied as well saying, "We are SOO excited to join the @ohnorman team and so honored to be chosen amongst all the funny, resilient candidates. Let’s get to work!" Hoagie's primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, testing and reviewing all of Oh Norman!’s new product innovations before they hit the market and monthly social media deliverables. He will work closely with the Oh Norman! team on new product development and testing, as well.
Oh Norman! was inspired by Kaley's dog Norman, who passed away in 2021. The actress launched the line in the fall of 2023, and what's cool about buying from Oh Norman! is that a portion of every purchase goes directly to rescuing dogs. It's a good company doing good things. Hoagie will remain in his new position as Chief Treat Officer for one calendar year and receive a salary of $10,000! Sounds like a pretty fun gig!
