Kitten Falls in Love With Man Who Didn't Want to Rescue Him and the Aftermath Is Beautiful

Who wouldn't fall for this kitten?

Rescuing an animal can be a ton of work, but it can also be rewarding, joyful, and fun to care for a rescue pet. In our opinion, it's easy to see why someone would love rescuing. But it's also easy to see why someone would be hesitant!

That's why we can relate to both @rando_ali and her partner as they debate whether or not to take home a tiny kitten they rescued. We're sure you can guess how that went, but in case you need proof--this kitten convinced everyone to love him!

What a sweet little kitten! It's so hard to believe they just happened upon the baby at their local park, but the universal cat distribution system works in mysterious ways. The one pattern in the system is the infamous 'dad and the pet he didn't want' trope. This is the perfect example!

"The way the kitten complained every time he tried to hand him over," was a favorite moment of @megscetera. "He understood the assignment and won over his new bestie." He sure did! And once his new dad was wrapped around his paw, he won over two more new besties.

Just when we thought this story couldn't get any cuter, this little one gets two Australian Shepherd siblings! Fortunately, the pups seem very patient with the chaotic kitty, so the occasional play bite doesn't hurt anyone's feelings.

Our hearts just about melted when we saw him curled up asleep with one of the pups, though. It's magical to see how quickly animals can help each other feel safe in a new environment, though we're sure this little one still has some adjusting to do.

Animal experts recommend following the 3-3-3 rule when bringing home a new furry friend. This rule states that an animal takes around 3 days to begin to feel safe, 3 weeks to learn new routines and open up, and 3 months before they're fully adapted to their new home. It can take time, but this little gray kitten seems to be settling in just fine!
