Malamute Gets New Chihuahua Puppy After Senior Besties Pass Away and It's Perfect
Having a pet cross over the rainbow bridge comes with a grieving period. They were your best friend and suddenly life looks a little different now. Oftentimes those who have lost a pet will end up getting a new one to help the grieving process. We've done that before.
Believe it or not, getting another pet not only helps you during this trying time, but it also helps your other pets. Take for example TikTok user @lauramichellemusic's dog. This Malamute got a new puppy after two of his senior dog besties passed away. His reaction is absolutely perfect. Take a look!
Aww, look at his new little Chihuahua bestie! We're so thrilled that this dog owner decided to get Skye a new friend. It has been especially hard on her dog. The owner said they lost two dogs in three months and afterwards, Skye wouldn't engage with life. Ugh, that's so heartbreaking. His tiny new friend will give him new joy in life again!
"My Chihuahua grew up with a Husky for an older sibling and now sounds like a Husky on helium," wrote @bagels0504. O.M.G. Now, that is something we have to hear! Who knows, maybe that'll happen to this Malamute and Chihuahua duo, but if not, we're excited to see their friendship grow.
