Man's Determined Attempt to Reunite Baby Ducks With Their Mom Is Everything

A man is being heralded a hero for making sure a flock of baby ducklings trapped in a sewage grate made it back to their mama. The TikTok creator, @wildomatictv, just happened to be walking by the grate when he heard the baby ducks chirping. But the internet was glued to their screens to see how the TikToker was going to get them out.

@Wildomatictv typically shares life on his farm on his page, but in this recent video, he revealed some of the crazy things that can happen when nobody’s looking. “I came out here to feed the animals, and I found a mother with some babies,” he explained in the footage. “Then I heard a bunch of chirping down here.” There were five ducklings caught in the grate, so at first, he was a little stumped on how to get them out. But then he came up with a solution: a “super long net.” Watch the lengths he went to in order to try and save them.

OMG. How did he come up with that? Pretty impressive. In a second part of the saga, he uses the net to see if he can carefully lift the ducklings out of the sewer. “I got ‘em! I got ‘em! I got ‘em all!” he says while lifting the net up.

Then came the final step in his mission: reuniting the ducklings with their mother. At first, it was hard for @Wildomatictv to track the mama duck down — but then he spotted her wading in a pond. We were on the edge of our seats waiting to see if they'd make their way back to her.

Don't you just love a story with a happy ending? People in the comments praised him for going the extra mile. “Thank you so much for taking time out of your day to care! It will not be forgotten, sending great energy and love,” @tigernach wrote. “Your joy is so contagious! I’m glad people like you exist,” @messystonk added. “To see a grown man that happy about saving those ducks just warms the heart,” @merlotwilldrivemetodrink agreed.

We think the commenters said it best. This man was an angel for making sure those ducklings were safe. Now, let's hope they'll stay by their mama's side next time.
