Naughty Goldendoodle Taking Hair Tie Out of Mom's Hair Unlocks New Level of Thievery

He's never done that before!

Every dog has their angelic moments that convince you that you have the perfect pet. Other times, however, it can be hard to recognize the naughty demon wreaking havoc on your home. Whether they're feeling excited or trying to get your attention, naughty dogs know exactly how to test your limits!

Sometimes, though, they're testing their own limits, too. A dog owner named Jamie posted a video on November 23 showing the moment her Goldendoodle realized that he could take hair ties right out of her hair! He's loved playing with hair ties, but this is the first time he's stolen one straight from the source. Needless to say, even his mom was blown away by his audacity!

LOL! This is one brave Goldendoodle dog to take the hair tie right from his mom's ponytail like that. I'm surprised that he didn't pull her hair, but I'm more surprised that she let him keep going! I'd be so nervous about my messy hair getting tangled, but her locks are as smooth as butter.

"I’m more shocked the hair tie came out that smoothly," agreed video viewer Rachel. "My hair could never." Same! My hair more closely resembles the Doodle dog instead of his owner, which makes it difficult to style and tame. Fortunately, I have lots of tools and products to help--and so does this fluffy dog

However, he's more interested in his mom's hairstyle than his own. I'm curious: Why are hair ties so fascinating to the curious pup? He was so focused on the elastic band that he didn't even notice his mom filming! There's no way of telling whether this will be a life-long obsession of his, but it certainly is cute while it lasts. Hopefully, he doesn't take his fascination out on curly-haired guests!

Oodles of Poodle Mixes

Designer dogs like Goldendoodles have been around for several decades but have peaked in popularity in recent years. In some ways, it's easy to see why! Poodle dogs are intelligent, athletic, and friendly, with a coat that hardly sheds. Poodle mixes, on the other hand, started out as a hypoallergenic option for guide dogs and service dogs, though now they're loyal, loving friends, too.

Of course, a mixed-breed dog will inherit traits from both parents, so a 'Doodle' dog like the one in this video will truly be one in a million. Some may look or act more like poodles, while others lean toward their other ancestor, but all Doodles tend to have a happy, friendly spirit that charms everyone they meet.
