Woman's Hack for Getting Pet Medications on the Cheap Might Save a Life
We've all been there before, rushing to the vet to get your pet checked out. The result usually comes with some type of medication you need to get. And that of course means dishing out tons of money.
Thankfully, TikTok user @legacy_d shared a money-saving hack that not only helps our wallets but could ultimately save our fur babies' lives. Instead of paying $100 for amoxicillin, her vet suggested something we'd never heard before. Trust us, you'll want to save this for later.
Wow! That is SO incredible! The same exact prescription went from $100 to $10. What?! That's so unheard of! We're so glad she shared this tip because we just know this will save so many animals and pet owners.
"THANK YOU so much! I just called the pharmacy, they'll be filling the prescription for $4! You might've just saved my dog's life!" commented @bothsidesofthemoon. Amazing! That's the goal of this video! "Vet tech here! This doesn't work on all medications but it's a great option. I didn't know it wasn't common knowledge. Thanks for sharing it with others," said @babysunhobi. We truly had no idea but we're so glad we do now!
This TikToker also mentioned in the video that Chewy needs to have a physical copy, which could take up to weeks. But we're in luck. The official TikTok account for Chewy commented on the video saying, "Hi. We don’t need anything physical, our people will directly call your vet for all information, as long as you know the medicine name!" Hopefully, this will help all pet owners in the future!
