Golden Puppy Learns to Play ‘Dead’ and It’s Breaking the Internet

The video shows 5-month-old Dexter learning to play dead. His incentive? A treat of course! In the video, Dexter's mom puts her fingers together to look like a gun, points it at him, and says, "Bang!" Dexter acts like he was hit and rolls onto the floor on his side. He can't wait to get that treat!
@Dexter is just adorable! Not only that, but he's also smart too! The golden pup now has a fun party trick that him and his mom can do, and it will crack people up!
The video got more than 5 million views, close to a million likes, and 1,600 comments. @Heather Nezich got more than 40 thousand likes for her comment, "The side eye looking for the treat!" @Tonya pointed out, "The head roll at the start!!!" @Shandra Bland laughed, "He looked up so you’d know he wasn’t really dead LOL!!!"
Other than Dexter's cute little head tilt, most comments focused on the exact same question that @Elisabed Gonzalez asked, "How did you teach him this???" No word from Dexter's mom, but @Caitlyn Axelrod shared, "I taught my dog this by following a YouTube video. He learned it so fast!!"
Training dogs and teaching them tricks requires a lot of one thing: patience. As long as you have patience and your dog can see how much they're pleasing you, it will just take some time for your pup to follow simple commands. Now I want to get a dog just so that I can teach it to do this!
