Senior Dog Who's Been at the Shelter for Over 600 Days Is Starting to Lose Hope

He's just so devastated.

Living at the shelter for over two years would take its toll on any animal, but one handsome senior Pit Bull is feeling especially depressed. Snoopy is a gentle seven-year-old dog who's been overlooked time and time again due to his age and special needs, but shelter dog walker @juliesaraceno2 is determined to help him find his forever home.

Her TikTok video of Snoopy quickly racked up one million views, so we know it's only a matter of time before this old soul meets his perfect person. If you live in the Washington area, that person might be you!

This poor boy is breaking our hearts! We hate to hear that he's looking for an end-of-life foster home at only seven years old, but who knows? With enough love and the right health care, he could thrive for another seven years!

Snoopy is waiting patiently to meet the love of his life at Benton-Franklin Humane Society in Kennewick, Washington. His online bio tells potential adopters that he is housetrained, vaccinated, and neutered. He will need to practice obedience training, though! Every new owner should be prepared to work on training with their dog, however, so this isn't different than any other pup.

What is different about this Pit Bull is his Cushing's disease. Julie explains that he has "problems with his vision, hearing, and weight" but is taking daily medications to help manage the illness. In fact, she made a second video to share more about the sweet shelter dog.

Aww! We love to see that he's getting so much love and care from the folks at the humane society, but nothing will come close to the kind of pampering he'll get when he finds his perfect home. We just hope that happens soon!
