Senior Shepherd's Cries After Being Surrendered to Seattle Shelter Are So Heartbreaking
It's always so heartbreaking when a senior dog is surrendered to an animal shelter. Unfamiliar sounds, smells and people tend to stress these elderly dogs out so much and they just can't understand why they are no longer with their beloved owner.
TikTok user and shelter volunteer @Kim.and.dogs recently posted a sweet senior German Shepherd who is so unhappy to be at the shelter. This is just so very sad.
TikTok users feel so sorry for this sweet boy and one person asks, "How, HOW could anyone surrender their baby that’s devoted so long to them?" @Jess adds, "I have no idea how they can sleep at night. This makes me so sad." @Liss adds, He's just missing everything he's ever known. People get pets and just don't inform themselves and then dump them." @Diner replies, Oh my gosh, poor, sweet poor baby. He is so sad ! am manifesting the most wonderful owner for him!!" @QTawny says, "Someone needs to adopt this precious boy as soon as possible. German Shepherds don't do well away from their owners."
He does seem like such a sweet boy, and it's just heartbreaking how absolutely lonely he seems. Our fingers are crossed for sweet Pumba that someone adopts him soon.
