Service Golden Retriever’s ‘Polite Zoomies’ Are So Cute People Can't Take It

Very mindful. Very demure.

Every dog gets the zoomies. But we've never seen a dog zoomie as politely as one Golden Retriever does. Asa certainly does things her own way. She doesn't need to run and jump everywhere when she gets wound up. Nope, the good girl is very well mannered when she has an energy burst. Like a video online adorably shows.

Asa is a service dog in training for her owner, Dakota Grey, which explains why she doesn't go HAM every time she needs to run around.

As Grey explained in the video's text overlay, the Golden Retriever has been trained not to jump on her humans. But she's still a dog after all. Sometimes a dog needs to run around!

What she does instead is spin around in tiny circles and jump next to her owners — not on them. It's a very polite way to seek a little attention and not get anyone hurt.

"I love her so much," Grey wrote in the video's caption.

Asa had people in the comments section cracking up. "The respectful zoomies," joked one commenter. "My dog also does this!! She always hops when it’s potty time and we always say 'one hop this time!'" someone else joked. "I love how she sits down like 'Ok! I’m good now!'" added one person. While another commenter has a polite dog of their own: "My dog knows my dad doesn’t like it when she kisses his face so she licks the air next to his face," they shared.

Asa is clearly learning a lot in her service dog training. And that's probably because Goldens are excellent service pets. These dogs tend to be very friendly and easy-going. They're also incredibly smart and take to training with ease.

German Shepherds are another breed that tend to make great service dogs. German Shepherds have a lot of qualities that make them adept at the job. Like their high intelligence, loyalty, fearless nature, and instinct to remain alert.

Many people choose Poodles to be service dogs because of their intelligence too. Poodles in particular are really good at detecting allergens, which can come in handy for people with life-threatening allergies. They are also very loving dogs and are easy to train.

Bernese Mountain Dogs are a great option for people who need a dog with a little strength. They're large enough that they can support the weight of an adult who needs help standing or could pull a wheelchair if need be.

Any of these dogs would make the perfect service dog. And they make excellent companions too.
