Shelter Dog in Texas at Risk of Euthanasia Needs a Hero to Save Him

It is heartbreaking to think about all the dogs that are available for adoption with no one interested in taking them home. There's nothing more tragic than knowing there are sweet and loving dogs deprived of the care and attention they deserve. One dog is desperately looking for some love at a shelter in Texas and the video of this pup is so important to watch.

TikTok user @saveshelterdogs recently shared a video of a Pit Bull mix named Russell who is available for adoption at Fort Worth Animal Care and Control. This good boy is looking for his forever home, but unfortunately he is at risk of euthanasia because of the abundance of shelter dogs in the Forth Worth area. Watch the video below to meet Russell and help this poor pup!

Awww, this dog is so good, someone has to save him! We know there is someone out there who can be the hero this dog needs, we just need to find them.

People in the comments are sending Russell good luck. @emmyloo212 said, "Sending prayers for Russell to find a forever home. He’s such a handsome boy!" Another user, @slm.2018, commented, "He is such a good boy. Hoping and praying for you sweetheart!" It is our greatest wish for Russell to find his forever home soon!

Others were incredulous that Russell hasn't been adopted already. @cmarie.co commented, "He's such a good boy, how is he not adopted?" and @a_b_483 said, "Why on earth is he there? He’s amazing!" We can't understand why someone hasn't adopted this perfect pup yet either!

There are many shelter dogs who are in need of loving homes, and it breaks our hearts that they haven't found their people yet. We hope Russell and the others in the shelter are saved!
