Shelter Dogs' Adorable Rendition of 'Hot to Go' Hopes to Find Them Forever Homes

Fingers crossed this does the job!

If you haven't heard of Chappell Roan at this point — well, where the heck have you been?! The musician has been taking the world by storm all summer. She has fans high and low. That includes some of the dogs at the Wisconsin Humane Society, who've been really loving her song "Hot To Go!" The dogs even cemented their love of the bop in an adorable new video online.

The dogs got to show off their fandom in the clip, albeit with a little help from their caretakers and some carefully placed peanut butter.

It seems that even the caretakers at the Wisconsin Humane Society are fans. In the video the shelter shared, they joked that they hoped Chappell was going to play the song — but sadly they were just at work.

Cut to several of the dogs at Wisconsin Humane, whose kennels were covered in peanut butter letters that spelled out the song's title. Everyone's a Chappell fan!

"Our pups really enjoyed making the video," the humane society joked in the caption. We're sure they did!

If the purpose of the video was to convince people to adopt — mission accomplished. " Whoever came up with this deserves a raise," praised one commenter. "Think my husband would notice if a third dog suddenly appeared in my house? These guys are so cute," someone else wondered. "This deserves an Emmy or something," joked another commenter. "BEST. MARKETING. TEAM. EVER!!!" one commenter exclaimed.

Donating to Wisconsin Humane Society

Sometimes fostering or adopting isn't in the cards — but that's okay! There are still many ways to give back. Rescues like the Wisconsin Humane Society need lots of funds to keep their operations going.

There are many ways to give, like through a monthly donation. Not only will you be helping needy pets every single month — every monthly donation will be matched for up to a year. Donations can't exceed $50,000, but the impact of any amount can't be overstated. As a monthly donor, your funds really do go far.

Donations can do so much for dogs, like pay for their heartworm treatments, vaccinations, food, and pay for animals to get spayed or neutered. You can also do single donations or check out the Wisconsin Humane Society for a list of items on their wish list. Things like canned or dry pet food are always appreciated. And you might be helping out a fellow Chappell fan.
