Shelter Pit Bull Who 'Once Knew Love' Has People Captivated by His Sweet Eyes
A dog that has seen the worst won't give up on humans. The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue in West Palm Beach, Florida found the Pit Bull wandering as a stray at 7 years old. But no matter how bad things have been, the dog still wants a loving home.
The rescue themselves said it best, "Frankie deserves the world." Which is why they're sharing his story in hopes that someone will see it and see the pup's value.
In the video's caption, it states that Frankie "has obviously been loved before" — "we can’t imagine how he ended up on his own," they wrote.
The rescue has no way of knowing what he's been through and they don't know how long he was on his own. But they can clearly see how good his is.
"Frankie is still so loving and trusting," they added. He's also the "sweetest, cuddliest boy. He’s easy to walk on a leash and likes playing fetch in the yard."
The comments section was up in arms about Frankie. Someone needed to come get this Pittie — ASAP. "Dogs expect so little and this guy was given even less. I hope someone sees the hope in his eyes and can give him everything," wrote one person. "Oh Frankie, you will find your forever family and they will be so lucky to have you," another person wrote.

Adopting From Peggy Adams Animal Rescue
Frankie needs someone to save him. That person could be you. If you or someone you know is ready to bring home a Pit Bull, adopting from Peggy Adams Animal Rescue is the perfect way to do it.
Just head over to their website and set up a time to visit their facility. Then you'll meet with an adoption counselor who will go through any medical needs or special accommodations an animal might have. You'll also get any specific information about the animal you're adopting. Make sure to bring your ID too!
What's cool about Frankie is that he's part of their "Dolly's Dream" program, which aims to end the stigma against Pit Bulls by encouraging people to adopt. As part of the program, all of Frankie's adoption fees, spay/neuter fees, microchip, and vaccinations have been covered. He also receives a year of parasite prevention, a week of "good pup" training, a complimentary training crate, collar, harness, leash, toy, and free food and water bowls. It's pretty cool!
As a senior dog, Frankie is also part of their "Grey Whisker Club," which has its own benefits like 50 percent off the adoption fee and a free comprehensive senior exam.
If you're in the area and looking for a dog, it'd basically be silly not to scoop Frankie up. He's the perfect addition to any loving home.
