Sanctuary's Story of Rescuing Sick Piglet From the Woods Is So Full of Love
All animals deserve safety, health, and happiness--no matter their species or size. That's why I love this heartwarming TikTok video from @uncleneilshome, a nonprofit farm and animal sanctuary that gives rescue animals the chance to spend the rest of their days in complete bliss. When they heard about a sick piglet who was wandering alone in the woods, they wasted no time coming to his rescue.
As you'll see in the video, the tiny piglet was nervous, starving, and completely covered in ticks. Thankfully, one kindhearted woman at Uncle Neil's Farm was ready and prepared to nurse him back to health.
Thank you for helping baby Cashew. He's the cutest little piggy I've seen in a long time, and it's so special to watch him thrive. It's truly impressive how quickly his rescuer was able to earn his trust, though I'm sure the snacks helped, too!
"You are my hero!" wrote @catz281. "Thank you for saving him! He's adorable." Isn't he just precious? By the looks of this video, though, he's just as sweet! The way he slept in his rescuer's lap in the car simply melted my heart, and I was so impressed by how still he was while she removed his ticks. Clearly, Uncle Neil's Home is incredibly lucky to find this little guy--almost as lucky as Cashew himself!
Without animal heroes like this woman, I have no idea where rescued fur babies like Cashew would be. The work rescues and sanctuaries do is positively irreplaceable!
