Toddler Belly Laughing Over Great Pyrenees' 'Interpretive Dance' Is a Dose of Pure Joy

Just try not to smile at that laugh!

Caring for a pet dog can have a lot of similarities to caring for a child, and many pet owners feel just as attached to their pups as they would be to a baby. It's no wonder why some people call their pets their fur babies! Animals are just as important to the family as anyone else, and they should always be treated as such.

One adorable Great Pyrenees named Bruno has grown into his role of big brother perfectly, but his day-to-day life is getting even more exciting now that his little sister is big enough to interact with him. The adorable one-year-old is still getting to know her surroundings and all the animal friends on her family's property, but it's safe to say that Bruno won her over on December 30. He was so happy to see her that he couldn't contain his dance moves!

This couldn't be any cuter! Bruno is clearly a gentle giant who loves his little sister just as much as she loves him. Even though they're separated by a baby gate for everyone's safety, they still found a way to bond and connect through the dog's excitable dance moves.

"I shall entertain the child," commenter @fightyou4pizza wrote in the voice of Bruno, "But in the form of. .. interpretive dance!" That's exactly what it seemed like! The Great Pyrenees pup couldn't jump on his little sis or ask her for belly rubs,  but he could express his joy from afar. Luckily, it was a hit! His excitement was contagious, and the little girl seemed just as happy to see him as he was to see her.

Another commenter noticed from the whining sounds in the back of the video that Bruno has other furry siblings. They're German Shepherds! Clearly, this baby is going to grow up surrounded by so much safety and love, and it's all thanks to her two-legged and four-legged family members.

Great Pyrenees As Family Dogs

Having both dogs and children can be chaotic at times, but it can also be immensely joyful and special. Plenty of dogs do well with children in the home, from tiny pups like Dachshunds to XXL Newfoundland 'Nanny Dogs.' It's important for parents to help dogs adjust to having a new baby around, as even the gentlest pups can be startled by loud sounds and new experiences.

Great Pyrenees can make excellent family dogs for families in large homes with yards or farmland. They'll need plenty of space to sniff, roam, and run to their heart's desire, but they'll be happy to relax by your (and your child's) side at the end of an active day. The family in this video is taking more precautions by separating the dog and baby with a gate, as Bruno could easily (and accidentally) knock his sister over. This is so smart! When both dog and baby are feeling safe and comfortable, they're more likely to build a loving, trusting bond as they grow up together. Soon, Bruno and his sis will be running around the house together!
