Woman Hilariously ‘Reports’ Husky’s Trip to the Vet Like It’s the News
If there's one thing most dogs dread, it's a trip to the vet. They also have no problem letting us know how unhappy they are with us when they get home. Vermont Husky Pack shared a video in May of one of their own, a Siberian Husky named Kota, who plans to 'sue' her mom over an unauthorized visit to the vet.
The video starts with Kota's mom reporting on the trip to the vet like she's reporting the news. Kota alleges that she was drugged, woke up with a leg shaved, and upon arriving home from the vet, found medicine hidden in her treats and food. Make sure your sound is on because Kota's mom sounds just like a real news anchor!
I couldn't quit laughing at this "barking news"! Viewers of the Vermont Husky Pack video left nearly 4 thousand comments about it, and some of them were funny. @D got almost 13 thousand likes when they said, "Award winning media and journalism!" @Sunshinedaygal wondered, "Why aren’t more news stations covering this?? LOL!" One commenter pointed out, "The different levels on volume is so accurate!!" and @Sam got more than 10 thousand likes for the comment, "The heavily redacted documents..."
Do Huskies Make Good Pets?
There's no doubt that Siberian Huskies are beautiful dogs, but do they make good pets? It depends on your family's lifestyle and if you have the energy to keep up with one.
One of the first thing you'll notice about Huskies if you watch a lot of TikToks about them is that they are very vocal. They love to howl, talk back to their paw-rents, and have no problem voicing how they feel, and loudly. In fact, World Animal Foundation lists them as the second most chatty dog breed out there, with the Chihuahua being at the head of the pack. WAF explained why they're so vocal, "They worked in packs, pulling sleds. Huskies needed to communicate on the job, so barking is a natural tendency." If you're looking for a quiet dog, a Husky is not the breed for you.
Because Huskies are working dogs, they like to stay very busy and require a lot of exercise and room to run. If they don't get enough exercise, they can become destructive; they will chew on things they're not supposed to, rip things apart, and dig. They are intelligent and easy to train, however, they can be very stubborn and if they don't want to do something, they're not going to do it.
No matter what the breed, there are always pros and cons that come with them. This is just one reason why it's so important to do your research so that you can decide if a certain dog breed is right for your family. Bringing home a dog simply because it's cute could end up being a big mistake if you don't know what you're really getting into and can potentially make for an unhappy dog and family.
