Can a cat get conjunctivitis and become partially blind as a result of not getting it treated?

Answer

An eye infection such as conjunctivitis can be secondary to a more serious eye condition which may indeed cause blindness. A cat may have an eye infection secondary to glaucoma, anterior uveitis, or a corneal ulcer, and these left untreated may lead to blindness.
