My first thought would be that she is looking for a playmate. She is bored and you are a great distraction. She could think you are going to feed her, which could also explain her behavior because you don't so she stops bugging you. The only suggestion I have for you is to take the time to play with her to wear her out a bit when you first come home. Or play before you leave so she is already tired when you come home. Or maybe just give her a little food or some treats when you get home. Maybe her regular feeder can put a bit aside for that purpose. You give her attention and then leave your room to feed her. No more attacks on your feet and no more attention-craving behavior. Why she does this only to you can be attributed to the fact she likes your pets the most.
