I recently had to separate my two boys for two weeks while one healed from a medical procedure. We let them have supervised playtime out of the cage with us first. Then we let them have access to the cage during playtime. I didn't let them spend the night together in the cage until I had a day off to keep an eye on them in there. Since you have girls, they may not be as territorial as my boys acted. They are together in the cage again but are still acting aloof towards each other. Either way, I felt better separating them until I knew my boy's wound couldn't reopen than trying to let them be together.
